In 2021, the Franc Miklošič Ljutomer High School re-emerged with the idea of preparing a festival-style closing ceremony for the new high school program of the art high school. Due to experience, history, and a suitable platform, we revived the Student Cuts film festival and adapted it slightly for slightly younger authors. Since students from all art high schools are extremely motivated, and at the same time they also have very good support from their mentors, the festival immediately caught on, and the socializing among peers raised the festival to a new level.
The theatre part of the festival also began simultaneously with the film festival, as some of the students are also studying theatre. Although there were some concerns at the beginning, the Theatre Action theatre festival proved to be an exceptional success, warmly received from all sides.
